Since when did the law specifically state you can't shoot a knife wielding attacker for self defense!?

If that's true and you can prove it, I guess it's time to change strategy, maybe if I ever get attacked I should burn the body out in the back of the woods and cover the ashes with dirt? That's pretty fucked if your forced to do that just to stay out of jail because you fucking defended yourself and/or family. This country is seriously going to hell if true.
