I'm just hoping Putin and his team keep a cool head and realize the objective is to bring the world to war. So far they have been pretty sober in their response which if anything is leading to more panic and anger among the West.

It indeed does. CIA has been funding radical Islamic groups in the Middle East since at least the 1980s where 'Bin Laden' was on their war budget payroll helping fight off the Soviets within that region of the world. Similar reason CIA funds ISIS to destabilize Syria, they wanted Assad violently overthrown but the Russians are preventing that from happening. Now this time it looks like they will try to indirectly destabilize Russia proper to stall Russian regime change in Ukraine. Muslims are always used as radicalized proxies by our deep state. Wouldn't be surprised if the same were true with Hamas as well.
