Chassis Architecture and Biomimetics

• Spider-inspired hydraulics: The platform’s limbs function based on the biomimetics of a spider’s legs. The structure is extended and held in place through controlled hydraulic pressure.
• Hydraulic locking during firing: In a predetermined firing position, the hydraulic valves lock rigidly. The machine transforms into a solid, stable tripod or quadripod. This prevents tipping and completely absorbs the recoil impulse of large-caliber weapons, channeling it directly into the ground.
• Enhanced frame survivability: Structural components are designed as bundles of independent, hardened or bonded rods. If struck by kinetic projectiles—such as shrapnel or bullets—the energy is dissipated; the failure of one or two individual rods does not compromise the overall geometry or structural integrity of the limb.

2. Dual-Circuit Power Plant and Supply

• Primary circuit (Internal Combustion Engine + Hydraulic Pump): A compact gasoline-powered mini-generator is coupled directly to an axial-piston hydraulic pump. The engine maintains constant pressure within the chassis’s hydraulic system. An electrical generator mounted on the same shaft powers only the onboard logic systems and a buffer battery.
• Emergency circuit (Mechanical latches): Spring-loaded solenoid-actuated locks are integrated into the hydraulic valves.
• EMP and failure protection: In the event of a critical automation failure or exposure to an electromagnetic pulse (EMP), the system switches to power supplied by standard consumer-grade batteries (such as AA or CR123 types). Control signals are transmitted via a distributed network of redundant, ultra-thin analog wires—functioning much like a "nervous system." Due to their minimal thickness, the wires do not function as antennas for electromagnetic interference (EMI), which prevents false activations.

3. Combat Module and Stabilization System

• Weapon: A short-barreled 12.7mm (.50 BMG) machine gun with high stopping power, designed for combat in forests and dense urban environments.
• Ammunition Feed: A continuous, backpack-mounted belt feed system, routed from a container on the operator’s back through a flexible metal conduit. This design eliminates the risk of cartridge jams, regardless of the weapon’s orientation.
• Floating Mount: The machine gun is secured to a balanced ball-and-socket joint. An electric motor rotates only the balanced mass of the barrel itself. The joint operates on the principle of a two-axis tank stabilizer, keeping the target locked even while the operator is in motion. The heavy base of the mount acts as a natural forend, dampening any tremors from the operator’s hands.
