Sometimes you have to disagree or critique with your idolized ones just as a sign of admiration or love. Not because of bad intentions but because both grow mutually. This is like Dash with the Wonderbolts. At first, you admir ethem blindly. When you join them, you critique them but love them as well. So Twilight would do. The Best Night Ever showed her blind admiration for Celestia and these days, she loves her but she points and discusses with Celestia as any other normal pony. Time changes perspectives and I believe the idea could happen at anytime.
