wow I got trips for that
Now personally there are too main factors as to why I believe this was canceled. One is the fact that he had just recently moved back to Hawaii to help take care of his mother, which of course was understandable why a project your slowing growing sick of gets tossed to the wayside. And two, he was a bit of a perfectionist. He was constantly changing things and making new game mechanics on the fly... while working on several other things on the side. Still, despite the hugeness of his game he mostly finished and just trying to touch up spots and finish the beginning sections of the game.

It wasn't that it had the best story or anything, but it was massive. Even when he cut it down there was still 40 or so playable characters. There was the main settig of the game, plus a dream world, plus side chapters. And he had been updating multiple times a week on his tumblr blog from 2012 to early 2016. The fact of how long it lasted plus the fact that he actually got close to his goal it's real sad it didn't get released.

Here is what documentation there is left. Most of it was not or only partly updated to the changes he made. Both of the wikis are mostly dead fyi

Sorry for going off on a bit of a tangent. But this game project has always fascinated me both for its scale and its obscurity and its later disappearance and I've just been digging around the net again, so i have a lot of memories of the years watching this project fresh in my head. (I outta check Derpibooru) for stuff related to it. Hopefully in the next few days I can get my own story updates posted here. See ya around fam!
