Like everything, contrast has to exist. Season 8 stopped me from thinking about how to worry about fan content and more about the direction of the franchise, it has something going on. I didn´t know what direction to take either.
The thoughtful parts are still there because I am trying to put more effort here than easy shitposts that I would make in /mlp/ or even nextchan. It´s summer as well, so I have been getting out of my house with more frequency, the ambiences shines for more time and I have not much time to think because the high temperatures keep me from thinking anything during my "dead" time. Also, studies have kept me busy. Just wait until September or October and you will notice a different mood.
It´s overtly happier because I have a clearer vision on how I should take the next steps. Keep in mind that our actions define a lot more than you would expect. Little gimmicks offer different and along the way, I discover the actual charm. I have rediscovered darkness with that bat pony thread, with you: political stuff and random real life topics, with season 8: divorce and the education system and with this board: the edits, the princesses, chan culture and greens that in theory, don´t come from dedicated writefags; among other things.
I have to check myself with frequency so I can point out what should be working despite not having restrictions at all. It´s funny, I have a lot restrictions yet I am planning some patterns to define a route everybody could follow. Copying /mlp/ or 8chan completely would turn out to be a mistake so I have to find something outside the usual traditions or twist them a bit.

I remember I was just doing my normal thing on checking out various random chans and other sites, when I happened to see the /pone/ board in the board list. I just noticed endchan because someone on /mlp/ shilled the alternatives(8chan and endchan). I knew this place existed during April 2017 and it had like 30 posts or so, I wasn´t missing much. I posted seaponies because there was not a thread dedicated to them in /mlp/ (and I don´t like opening threads, I have a very bad experience with that) so I had the liberty to post whatever and voila, I had the objective to boost this board to the first page with 300 posts so it would get noticed in this site. Oh boy, that escalated quickly.
