Now, moving onto Friendship University, more like the tutorial on how to make disloyal competence because of somepony´s ego.

Flim Flam are back with their tricks but guess what, when they actually did everything for money, they were being subtly used by the Chancellor. He made a very smart move by using Cozy Glow for stealing Twilight´s book and delivering it as his own with the approval of Starswirl.

This is probably the most realistic episode because that corruption and disloyal system is shown in everyday life, just that we get it in the education term. Twilight knew that something fishy was going on and it definitely was, because what could one expect from the Flim Flam brothers?

Meanwhile, Planity delivered a good distraction to detect what´s going wrung with the school by infiltrating in their classes and you can notice that the university does have subtle flaws with it.

Flim Flam´s jewish way to sell the books unequally(that scene says a lot with the torn paper for that poor pony) , the favoritism they have in order to bring a forced good image for the private school, the plan of not teaching the values in an honest way but with a lucrative purpose(when they actually have their own business in Las Pegasus) and Twilight´s discovery that the values from their guidebook of friendship sounds too familiar for her (the two little scenes of Cozy Glow hint the reason why).

The Chancellor took a huge risk as well because Twilight could have denounced him for copyright, admitting that Twilight´s values actually work but his proud vision blinds him for giving the reason to her. Basically a contest to see who is the best at delivering friendship by using enemy´s sources with a few veritable excuses (using Starswirl as alibi).

Overall, I am way too used to this dynamic in real life and it doesn´t surprise me a single bit.
I liked that Rarity reminded us why this is an entertaining show, how Flim Flam convinced the ponies (by the way, those ponies were in the EEA in the season premier) to show an alternative from Twilight´s school with a catchy song, and while there is nothing wrong with having some competence or complementary place to her school, the intentions behind count a lot. They denigrate Twilight´s image in order to take over her and while legal, it´s a really dirty strategy that the market usually does everyday.

A very strong episode in general.
