Yes, I thought about that scene of Luna Eclipsed and even having that impression of:"holy shit, Nightmare Moon is back!How are they going to deal with her?" and then, it was just Luna all along.
What happened in season 5 was certainly questionable and raises more questions to the table but I suppose that the form or cover doesn´t matter. The dark matter just meant the actual negative energy that Luna had (or at least, I do imply that) and it went way beyond than transforming her body. It was like an entity created from what she controlled. This is why Luna doesn´t have this problem and Celestia does. Celestia has hidden that infamous form longer and less noticeable than Luna´s case, so the problem is just postponed. Meanwhile, Luna has dealt with her enitre mind/body so her willful transformation means that she is able to do it without sacrificing a single bit from herself. In short, Nightmare Moon exists as long as Luna wants to make her a reality.

thx but don´t worry, those are just lab sessions. That´s routine at this point. Just that I never got into that situation of getting my time spent in the afternoon because of a lab session. That first contact well....served for this at least. Also, the fics written in June came in an exams period. I don´t know if I am a masochist but I do write a little bit better when I have more activity around.
