The first too were severely handicapped by bad writing. Though I don't have a full hatred of them, I agree that number 2 deserves to have it's feet to the coals. One thing I've noticed though was a change in discourse with episode 3 was that it used to be lumped togather with the others but I've now see even some OT purist start to soften to it. I think because, while still flawed, there was also extreme highs that it hit as well.

It was goofy and over the top, plus with a really strange development Japan: This is not going to be a sequel to the other two series. Hasbro: dub over and edit to make it sequel regardless what japan wants or how it hard it is to actually make it fit. It really isn't worth a look unless you have an interest in transformers or perhaps want to laugh at giant anime battles being done by a sometimes naive Prime who believes in the power of friendship and teamwork. Though, the series right before it, TF Energon maybe if you want to see something utterly retarded and laugh at something really unbelievably bad.
