>For me it's a passive numbness with a worry for pain in the future
you have pointed out a symptom that I know pretty well

>they played a major part of me taking a certain more open view and an interest in things that is a bit hard to articulate.
well, obviously other factors contribute to that experience but the fact that you associate it with them, says a lot

>there are things that are hard to articulate and inner thoughts can be a bit strange to detail.
agreed

>I see less people shout dead meme and instead react as if ponies are an ongoing current fad. Perhaps that is a mark of respect in a way that our fandom has stayed organized and distinct for all these years so far
maybe they admit that ponies annoy the hell out of them because they see that this ride is still relevant and hasnĀ“t reached a dead state after so much time. Those reasons behind that activity would explain why they have stood the test of time (or at least, a longer period that people believed at first). I will repeat it a thousand times, the organizations that this fanbase has offered is outstanding. Probably those haters are from other fanbases showing their jealousy of that virtue.

I highly doubt that was the reason but yeah, the fact that ponies still keep a stable activity makes them as reactive as if we travelled back to 2011 all of a sudden.

>Goodluck with the restart!
