Can also be explained mystically/intuitively, but (again), not in the West. Double whammy. We are resistant both to higher level abstractions and also to intuitive awareness. What is left? Pure materialism (including scientism). Great for inventing machines or doing surgery but nothing else. And now Google (etc) wants to pervert it into something really bad. If everything is just material, why not, right? "Become a cyborg, you'll be powerful."
BUT
That's a crock! Subtle reality is where the real power, beauty and truth lies. Starts with prayer but extends into....infinity. Once people know this, no one can take their FREEDOM! away.
