Hmmm....often better to inform someone of a decision BEFORE it is implemented, rather than afterward. Simply put, I cannot accept what you are offering.

Sorry you are feeling the heat. But are you so burned out that you cannot even ask me before making a pronouncement? I know things have been but it's tough, but they've been tough for all of us, not just you.

IF YOU CARE ABOUT THIS BOARD, you will find a replacement baker before leaving. That is what all good bakers do--and why baking is such a responsibility. Bakers NEVER assume that other bakers will take our place. That is their decision and their decision only.

I'm collecting notables now but the next bread will probably need baking when I'm asleep. Sorry, but I'll not be getting up to bake that bred. And will not be able to accept primary responsibility for baking on this board.

Please make suggestions if you have any. I know a lot of you have come to value this place, as do I. Don't want to see it go down. But in the end, it's not my board. I can help someone learn to bake, but that is all I can do--to be a helper. Just like all of you.
