Attempted Sudan Regime Change Fails As American Military Evacuates Embassy
A HEAVY US military presence—including military helicopters and combat aircraft—have been spotted in the skies above the US embassy compound in Sudan as fighting continues.
The Sudanese Armed Forces and Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have just announced they are assisting the US military in the evacuation of American diplomats and their families from the capital of Khartoum, utilizing at least six transport aircraft.
UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters have evacuated 70 Americans from the the Sudanese capital of Khartoum. Their destination is currently unknown.
UPDATE: AUTOMATIC WEAPON FIRE HAS BEEN HEARD IN THE SUDANESE CAPITAL OF KHARTOUM.
