Trump sat through hearing in silence with arms crossed

According to a report by our US partners NBC, Trump and Nauta have been released on their own recognisance, with no travel restrictions.
But both are under a limited contact order - the judge has told government prosecutors to put together a list of people Trump will not be able to contact to discuss the case. The list will include Nauta.
The limited contact order was not requested by government lawyers but was dictated by the judge. It could be complicated - Nauta still works for Trump.
An NBC reporter in the courtroom says the hearing was 47 minutes long and both men were booked at the same time.
The courtroom was filled with reporters, court officers and Secret Service agents.
Trump had his arms crossed for most of the hearing and did not speak. He requested a trial by jury.
Jack Smith was also in courtroom. He is the special counsel in the Trump investigations. He had a significant security presence around him.
After the arraignment concluded, Smith approached the prosecutors' table and put his arm around David Harbach, a prosecutor working with the special counsel’s investigation into Trump's handling of classified documents, and patted him on the shoulder. Harbach and Smith walked out of the courtroom together, NBC says.
