FLASHBACK: ⚠️ US's first openly transgender state legislator arrested on CHILD S-X ABUSE charges..

NASHUA, N.H. (TND) — Former New Hampshire House of Representatives member Stacie Laughton, who held office from 2020 to 2022, was taken into custody on Thursday for allegedly disseminating child s-xual abuse material, local law enforcement officials reported.

According to local news source WMUR, the arrest of Laughton is linked to the investigation involving Lindsay Groves, a preschool employee from Massachusetts accused of photographing children in the restroom.

"Groves allegedly used natural bathroom breaks for the children (routine diaper/pull-up changes prior to “naptime”) to take multiple photos of the pre-pubescent children in a private bathroom and then sent the photos to [an unnamed individual] via text message."
