If Q doesn't return then closing the doors will naturally occur as participation there continues to dry up.
Lots of shilling, shitposting, and newsbotting still.
But, the "oh wow a real anon ackshuaylly replied to me" is becoming moar common these days.
The important thing is Q chatter is alive and thriving still.
On TS and X/Twatter that is which is the battleground (the latter) that really matters.
