Defamation lawsuits by voting machine manufacturer Dominion Voting Systems against Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell are still active, despite online posts recirculating the false claim that Dominion lost the suits and suggesting the defeat was censored by news outlets.

Dominion sued Giuliani and Powell, former U.S. President Donald Trump’s lawyers, in January 2021, saying the voting equipment company was defamed by their false claims that it had rigged the 2020 presidential election
