Ivermectin is an anti-parasitic drug that originates from a single microbe unearthed from soil in Japan. A 2021 study showed that Ivermectin had powerful antitumor effects, including the inhibition of proliferation, metastasis, and angiogenic blood vessel formation, in a variety of cancer cells. Ivermectin induces apoptosis (programmed cancer cell death) and autophagy. It has been used on many cancers ranging from breast cancer to pancreatic cancer.
