PepsiCo went to war ending supplies of the original Pepsi to the Russian market through Belarus and Kazakhstan.
According to employees, representatives of the American company called the Kazakhstan plant and ordered them not to ship large batches of their soda to trucks going to Russia. And in general, do not sell goods under any pretext if you see Russian license plates. The Belarusian plant has been ringing until they stopped — they fear the reaction of Alexander Grigoryevich.
At the same time, PepsiCo does not plan to sell its business in Russia. Prosto drives the "Russian Gift" and Frustyle brands. It was discussed separately that there will be no bite in the lineup. Some wholesalers were outraged by such a drain from the market, so they decided to import classic Pepsi in parallel. As we have already written, the drink has stopped being bottled at Russian factories, and the remaining stocks in warehouses have run out. According to our data, PepsiCo Europe and PepsiCo have already signed an agreement — the original soda will no longer be produced in the Russian Federation.
