The Mainstream Road To Hell, The Tragedy Of Party Politics In Washington State And Its America First FutureFrom Luke 12:56 "You hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of earth and sky. How is it that you don’t know how to interpret this present time?"This best describes Washington State’s Mainstream Republicans, a political association lost in defending the past of their “moderate,” “uniparty” accomplishments and accommodations to an increasingly radical-left-fascist Democratic Party, with whom they share power and influence. As our nation moves towards a defining turning point of an American renewal, or a dystopian collapse into darkness, the “mainstreamers,” to preserve their current positions, instead of supporting the upsurge of opposition to the destruction of Washington State, have instead turned with savage fury against those new and emerging candidates and leaders who want to fight and defeat the radical deconstruction of Washington State and the nation. By not knowing “how to interpret this present time,” they are politically dooming themselves at the expense of the welfare of the citizens of Washington State.
Today’s Mainstream Republicans, officially founded in 1990 as an entity out of a yearly conference called the Cascade Conference, which began in 1977, and is still ongoing, is a tightly knit influential political network emanating from former Governor Dan Evans, his political associates, and three generations of their groomed proteges. Dan Evans’ group emerged out of the University of Washington in the 1950’s. They were seen then as a “progressive” wave of young Republicans who consolidated their rise with Dan Evans’ gubernatorial election in 1964. This network, spanning six decades, has been, and still is, the dominant power in Republican Party politics in Washington state since the 1960’s.
Among the first of the generation that assumed high posts in government, were Washington State Governor Dan Evans (1965-1977,) who also became U.S. Senator (1983-1989,) Washington State Attorney General Slade Gorton (1969-1981) who also became U.S. Senator (1981-1987, 1989-2001,) Washinton State Lieutenant Governor Joel Pritchard (1981-2001,) and Washington Secretary of State, Lud Kramer (1965-1975.) The next generation included Washington Secretaries of State, Ralph Munroe (1981-2001) and Sam Reed (2001-2013). While the third generation included Washinton State Attorney Rob McKenna (2005-2013,) and Secretary of State Kim Wyman (2013-2021.) The long-term occupation of the positions of Lieutenant Governor, 20 years, and Secretary of State, 56 years, by the mainstreamers, attests to the uniparty nature of their tenure.
