The story was "widely fact-checked" aka discredited by the "prestige" media outlets who offered no evidence of error but insinuated it was racist. They took Minnesota election officials at their word that no such fraud existed, and local police said they had seen no evidence -- because they never looked. Nobody followed up my column because the story was kryptonite to anyone who touched it, and the fraud continued. The exact same MO as Laptop from Hell three weeks later, only without the Dirty51.
