A world where normal, decent people are terrorized into whispering truth???
So together, and I remember it so well... Erin and I decided that we were NOT going to teach our children that intimidation, harassment, and evil is how you win an argument with someone you don't like or disagree with.
We’re not going to be harassed into silence.
Because they don’t come after you because you’re wrong.
They come after you because you’re effective.
They want you to learn the lesson every decent person who speaks out against the Left eventually gets taught:
Stay quiet, or we will make you suffer for it.
And we couldn’t shake the thought that if we let that work on us, then it’s not just US who loses...
...it’s everyone watching silently, thinking they’re alone.
It’s every NORMAL person who’s just ONE STEP behind where we were in March last year, deciding whether it’s “safe” to say what they believe or not.
It’s the dad sitting at his kitchen table with that SAME SICK feeling in his stomach, thinking, I can’t risk it… I’ve got kids.
