Most Inuit Greenlanders hate the Danish, who tried to genocide them with a long-term secret IUD program, where Inuit women and young girls visiting Danish clinics for "health checks" were for unknowingly fitted with dangerous coil IUDs that were left in for years, leaving many sterile and in chronic lifelong pain. It was total "Dr. Mengele" stuff. The Inuit in Greenland are ripe for a better offer.

Matt Walsh @MattWalshBlog - The benefits of acquiring Greenland would be very substantial. There's no question that it would be a smart move both strategically and economically. The people laughing it off just don't know what the hell they're talking about. We've grown so accustomed to the USA languishing in a state of stagnation, treading water aimlessly, that we're shocked by a president who actually wants to expand, claim new territory, and aggressively pursue greater power and more resources for the sake of his people. But this is what leaders are supposed to do. And what most American presidents did in fact do, until recently. Expansion is the American way. It has been since literally the first moments of its existence. If Americans in the 1800s were as timid and weak as some of the naysayers today, we never would have even reached the Pacific.
