toddstarnes @toddstarnes - FAKE NEWS ALERT: There’s so much disinformation about federal agents arresting illegals and most of it is coming from the national news media and Democrat members of Congress.
The most recent accusation came from Ilhan Omar. She alleged that ICE had detained a five—year-old child. She went on to allege that ICE agents had targeted the child as one of the “worst of the worst.”
It turned out not to be true. None of it.
Homeland Security says the child had been abandoned. Agents had pulled over a vehicle and the driver ran away – leaving the child behind.
An agent stayed with the child while officers apprehended the illegal who was driving the car.
It’s painful to say but you simply cannot believe what you read, hear or see on network television or your digital news source.
The Bill of Rights provides for a free press – but that does not give them the freedom to make up the facts.
