Ki-67 10% to 5%
I have had several cases now where the tumor changed on pathology.
So far I’ve only seen histological “downgrades” with Prostate Cancer, for example, Gleason 7 to Gleason 6, but this is the first case of Breast Cancer changing tumor characteristics.
Ki-67 represents the % of cancer cells undergoing division, it’s a reliable marker for cell proliferation.
from 10% of cancer cells actively dividing to only 5% of cancer cells actively dividing - that is VERY SIGNIFICANT.
To my knowledge, this has NEVER been described before.
