As I was looking in the windows with my flashlight, local PD responded. I immediately put my hands to the side, identified myself in a loud and clear voice, and let the responding cop know I was armed and would obey all commands from him. This was all as he was exiting his vehicle.
He walked up to me, took my ID out of my pocket, confirmed it, and we saw that the neighbor’s alarm was triggered falsely. After that, we kinda talked a bit and he went back to work. I went home.
I didn’t try to fight him. I didn’t make any crazy movements. I didn’t try to be a badass. This is why I was able to achieve that whole “going home” part. Crazy, I know…
Maybe the Left can “lear” this lesson. Might work out well for them.
