O.W. Root @owroot - They put these little light posts with the house number out front of houses near the driveway for a while back in the middle-ish part of the 20th century. I see them sometimes, and they are often, like this one, rusting and fading.
I like them in that they really feel like a time and are always, if still around today, in front of a house that is relatively un-updated and somewhat time locked still just like this. It's not really possible to tell the year this photo was taken. It's just there. I love this retro scene, shot on a retro camera, with a retro lens.
