Originally built in the late 1600s, Paul Revere purchased the home in 1770, moving his family there from their residence on Fish Street near Clark’s Wharf. When Paul moved there, his family included his wife Sarah, five children, and his mother Deborah. Paul owned the home from 1770 to 1800, although he and his family may not have lived there for most, if not all, of the 1780s.

Paul and Joseph Warren were fellow Sons of Liberty and close friends, who both belonged to St. Andrew’s Masonic Lodge of the Ancients which became the Massachusetts Grand Lodge. Joseph also lived in the North End on Hanover Street. He would have spent time in the Revere household and Paul’s silversmith shop. Paul fashioned two false teeth for Joseph. Those teeth were used to identify Joseph’s remains found on Breed’s in April 1776 after he was killed in action at the Battle of Bunker Hill on June 17, 1775. Joseph’s wife, Elizabeth, died in April 1773 at age 26. Paul’s wife, Sarah, died a few weeks later in May 1773 at age 37. Both friends experienced the death of a child. Joseph lost a daughter. Eleven of Paul’s children died before him. Of course, we all know that Joseph Warren sent his trusted friend, Paul Revere with William Dawes on their April 18, 1775 midnight ride to warn the countryside toward Lexington and Concord that the British regulars were out of Boston and on the march.

They'd rather keep you sick than promote a simple, cheap, and effective solution.
