Regarding the disintegrating US-South African relationship.. a tale in how not to poke the bear, or tickle the lion’s belly. Or kick elephant dung…

https://x.com/robertpatrickT2/status/2016234247858553110Robert Sikes | Natural Bodybuilder @ketosavage - You're in ketosis. That doesn't mean you're fat-adapted. Most people don't understand the difference, and it's costing them the real benefits of a ketogenic diet. Here's what you need to know: Ketosis is simple. Cut carbohydrates from your diet, and your body will start producing ketone bodies within 24 to 48 hours. If you do a blood test and measure 0.5 millimolar or greater of beta-hydroxybutyrate, congratulations - you're technically in ketosis. If you test your urine with a ketone strip and it shows acetoacetate, same thing. You're producing ketones. But that doesn't mean you're fat-adapted. Being fat-adapted means your body has built the metabolic machinery to actually use those ketone bodies as a primary fuel source. And that takes time. You can be in ketosis and have circulating ketones in your bloodstream, but if your body doesn't have the infrastructure in place to efficiently burn those ketone bodies for energy, you're not taking advantage of all the benefits that being keto-adapted has to offer. Those benefits - stable energy, mental clarity, reduced inflammation, improved body composition - often take several weeks, several months, or even several years to fully develop. There's a massive difference between being in ketosis for six weeks versus six months versus six years. In the early stages, your body is still learning how to use fat and ketones efficiently. Your mitochondria are adapting. Your cells are building new metabolic pathways. You're producing ketones, but you're not yet optimized to use them. True fat adaptation means your body has become incredibly efficient at using dietary fat for energy instead of storing it. You preserve muscle glycogen better. Your energy becomes stable throughout the day. Mental clarity sharpens. Recovery improves. But you have to give your body time to build that machinery. So if you've been doing keto for a few weeks and you're not feeling all the benefits you've heard about, don't give up. You're in ketosis, but you're not yet fat-adapted. Be patient. Stay consistent. Give your body the time it needs to fully adapt. The real benefits are worth the wait.

We have not cancelled a single show. Leftist activists are pushing artists to cancel but the public wants artists to perform and create—not cancel under pressure from political insiders that benefit from creating division.
