Chinese company Nongfu Spring bought a large industrial building on 23 acres in Nashua NH on January 21, 2025. They plan to buy up to 2 million gallons of our local Pennichuck water. I have been sounding the alarm since last April because it broke our federal law FIRRMA (Foreign Investment Risk Review Modernization Act of 2018). There is no record of the federal mandatory review of this deal because the location is within 100 miles of Joint Base Cape Cod, MA.
Chinese companies also bought former Daneil Webster College with 54 acres in 2018 and Chester College of New England with 72 acres in 2015.
