IAEA chief Rafael Grossi warned that Iran’s buried stockpile of highly enriched uranium could theoretically produce “a few, maybe a dozen devices.”
He said inspectors still have no access to key sites at Natanz, Fordow and Isfahan, struck during last June’s 12 day war. Tehran has blocked IAEA entry for months.
Iran claims 400 kg enriched above 60% purity remains under the rubble.
“The material is there,” Grossi said, adding the agency has a “firm impression” it remains underground, but cannot be certain without direct inspection.
