White House Press Pool Reports @WHPressPool - Out-of-town pool report #13 - The Varsity
POTUS walked in at 3:20 pm. “Nice place you got here!” he said.
Tables were full of people in the restaurant. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt and Kelly Loeffler were present too. Clay Fuller, who is running for former Rep. MTG’s seat and has been endorsed by POTUS, was also there.
POTUS asked the crowd if they liked Voter ID and was met with applause.
He asked the crowd if they thought former President Biden would do a podcast interview like the one he’s doing.
Pool was ushered out at 3:24 pm.

White House Press Pool Reports @WHPressPool - Out-of-town pool report #14 - rolling to Coosa Steel
Pool was brought back in at 3:51 pm.
Pool walked into POTUS hugging some people behind the counter. He went around shaking hands with restaurant visitors. He signed a few hats. Other red Trump hats were handed out.
POTUS mentioned his no tax on tips or overtime, which was met with some claps from workers. He pointed to one worker that he said has been working there “for almost 50 years. She paid tax for all those years.”
