Frederick Douglass Book Prize. Book TV presents coverage of the Frederick Douglass Book Prize awarded for outstanding non-fiction books on the subject of slavery and abolition. The award is presented by the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History. The winner was Justene Hill Edwards for "Savings and Trust: The Rise and Betrayal of the Freedman's Bank."
