Joey Jones @Johnny_Joey - A helicopter pilot was awarded the MOH tonight at the SOTU. He stood, gripping a walker, you could see the pain of his recent wound and the reluctant pride on his face from receiving attention and affection he’ll never truly feel he deserves.
The contrast between that guy and you… well it’s a gulf wider than that divided aisle that kept you from being there to applaud him tonight. Probably for the best, I imagine you’d feel pretty foolish in his presence tonight.
