Look, the President sets the tone. Stop pretending that he's some kind of harmless, kindly old man who is innocent in this: He attacks half of the country daily.
I'm old enough to remember when the right had a conniption over Hillary saying "basket of deplorables," which now seems quaint compared to trump accusing Dems of being "enemy of the people."
Unfortunately, he has infused politics into every aspect of daily life, because he makes everything about himself... and old Veteran gets the Medal of Honor; he laments he couldn't get one himself.
