White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed today that 12 Western Hemisphere leaders will attend the “Shield of the Americas” Summit hosted by Donald Trump at Trump National Doral Miami on March 7, with a summit with a stated focus on regional security, organized crime, narco-terrorist gangs, migration, and countering Chinese influence in the Americas.
🔹 Confirmed attendees include leaders from Argentina, Paraguay, El Salvador, Ecuador, Honduras, Bolivia, the Dominican Republic, Panama, and Guyana, along with Chile’s president-elect, Costa Rica’s leadership team, and the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago.
🔹 Mexico was not invited, and Venezuela, Cuba, Colombia, and Nicaragua are also excluded from the gathering. Brazil is also not attending.
