>>177581Secretary Brooke Rollins @SecRollins - So grateful to all the incredible men and women of @USDA @forestservice. We are making progress after years of bad policy that left our forests less healthy and wildfire risks high.
Chief Schultz and Montana’s great @GovGianforte are advancing a major Shared Stewardship partnership to restore forests and reduce wildfire risk across Montana!
Initial efforts will focus on large-scale forest management across nearly 200,000 acres in northwest Montana, improving forest health and protecting nearby communities.
This is part of our broader work to accelerate forest restoration, support rural economies, and ensure America’s forests remain healthy, productive, and resilient for generations.

Video: Our shared stewardship agreement with the Forest Service is huge news for Montana.
This partnership unlocks our ability to better manage forests and prevent wildfires all while supporting the timber industry and good-paying jobs.

https://x.com/SecRollins/status/2030642393133818032Secretary Brooke Rollins @SecRollins - Video: One of the greatest blessings since taking on this role just over one year ago has been getting to know so many of our career team @USDA. Many of whom have proudly been here for decades (and their parents before them!) To honor their work, I decided to take nominations and launch an “Unsung Hero” award. The best part… to surprise our winners!
With Annette James, Branch Chief of Printing Services, as the first recipient! She started working for USDA in High School — 37 years ago!
As I made my way to the basement of our South building and turned the corner, she burst into tears. She had never met any of her Secretaries, and certainly none had ever come down to the print shop. Meeting her and her team was such a highlight. And later, we had a wonderful lunch at the White House to celebrate!
