Now Trump’s back in charge and suddenly these legacy hacks are pretending he just “forgot” to fix it overnight. We’re sitting at roughly 416 million barrels out of a 714 million barrel capacity as of early 2026.
Undoing Biden’s vandalism means buying back nearly 300 million barrels on the open market. That’s a $20 billion taxpayer bill at current prices, not counting repairs and logistics disaster left behind from the rapid drain.
AND ON TOP OF THAT, they completely bury the lead.
Refilling isn’t some magic “undo” button like Biden’s fire hose dump was. You can’t just snap your fingers.
Infrastructure limits, smart buying to avoid jacking up prices again, congressional funding fights, and delivery contracts mean the realistic pace is BRUTALLY slow, a fraction of Biden’s million-barrels-per-day catastrophe.
At current rates, restoring to safe pre-Biden strength could easily take nearly a DECADE. Quadruple the time it took him to torch it for votes he didn’t even win.
Trump’s team is already contracting buys when prices make sense and pushing the infrastructure, but the damage Biden left is massive.
These clowns are hoping (as always) that Americans never connect the dots on what Biden sacrificed for one failed election…
