The last time signals of this nature were observed in Italy was just days before the huge seismic burst that hit Campi Flegrei Supervolcano. This activity follows a day after the largest earthquake in ten years to have struck Italy (M6.0) did so directly below the Supervolcano at an extreme depth of 381 km.
