Mary Margaret Olohan @MaryMargOlohan - Video: NEW: Secret Service confronted an individual a few blocks from the White House this afternoon after that person made a “threatening statement” to one Secret Service officer. I observed a number of agents sprinting towards the individual before detaining her.
Spokesman Nate Herring tells @realDailyWire: “Just after 2pm this afternoon, an individual approached a Secret Service Uniformed Division officer and made a threatening statement toward that officer. The individual was detained and will be transported for a mental health evaluation. At no point was there a threat directed toward a protectee or the White House.”
