Philippe Lemoine @phl43 - By the way, on the same day when the patriarch was prevented form accessing the Holy Sepulcher, another group of Christians was allowed to organize a ceremony in another church in the Old City just a short walk from there, where I'm quite confident there isn't any shelter either, but somehow their safety wasn't a problem despite the fact that there were more people than there would have been at the Holy Sepulcher. Muslim religious officials were also allowed to perform a ceremony for Eid at Al-Aqsa, which last time I checked wasn't exactly a shelter-friendly place either. So were Jewish officials at the Western Wall recently.
