To bring gas prices down, the president said “all I have to do is leave Iran.” He said “we will be leaving very soon.” And later said “within 2-3 weeks.” But then also said it’s possible a deal could be made before that.
On whether he’s considering transferring the coast guard from DHS to the Navy, he said he isn’t.
He said he is appealing the judge’s decision on the ballroom. The president read from some notes he had written about the decision. It was double sided piece of paper with sharpie notes. He took issue with the fact that the judge thinks they need congressional approval.

Secretary Lutnick was also in the Oval Office for the signing of the EO. He spoke about the EO and shared that the ballots will have tracking codes.
The president signed the order at 5:41 PM.
He said he thinks it will help a lot with elections and doesn’t see how it can be challenged. He said if was a big issue that Democrats won’t sign onto things in the SAVE America Act, like voter ID.
He spoke on making DC safe again. He said the task force removed about 4,000 people (presumably he is referring to homeless people). It was previously reported that 142 homeless encampments have been cleared out of the city.
