Under a consent decree that would resolve their dispute with the State Department over its funding and promoting of tools that crushed conservative media business models, and by extension quashed conservative speech, Foggy Bottom agrees for the next 10 years to cease its censorious conduct.
Notably, State is enjoined from directly or indirectly funding or promoting tools for “suppressing, censoring, demonetizing, downgrading, or fact-checking the constitutionally protected speech of Americans or domestic media outlets.”
No collaboration with foreign governments or NGOs to crush American speech either!
