SAC Jason Hudson joins law enforcement partners at a news conference this morning announcing the arrest and indictment of James Dolphs Elmore Jr., in connection to the murders of several women in the 80's whose bodies were found in an area known as the “Texas Killing Fields”. For more than 40 years, securing justice for the victims and their families became the mission of law enforcement partners, FBI Texas City agents, and task force officers. We hope Elmore's arrest brings the long-awaited closure they have all been waiting for.

The #FBI urges the public to remain vigilant and exercise caution when communicating with anyone who claims to be federal law enforcement. Federal authorities will never ask for money or PII from potential victims or suspects when contacting them online or over the phone.
