>>179854U.S. Attorney DC @USAO_DC - Yesterday, Guy Cummings, 30, a previously convicted felon residing in the District of Columbia, was sentenced to 50 months in prison for unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon.
On January 18, 2025, officers approached Cummings who fled on foot. An officer observed Cummings make a tossing motion over a brick wall before he was apprehended.
Officers retraced Cummings' path and discovered a stolen black Glock 26 9mm pistol in the snow loaded with one round in the chamber and 15 rounds in the magazine.
