Benoit Cransac, a French national who was legally living in the U.S., remains in custody at the Orleans Justice Center.
Cransac was fired by Isidore Newman School when the first charges came to light, according to the Louisiana AG’s office. He reportedly taught at the school for 13 years.
ICE @HSINewOrleans and state investigators worked together on this case, which is ongoing.
