Bob Moran @bobscartoons - It's strange that this person doesn't mention that there is a forthcoming documentary, due for release on Amazon, all about the Benedictine monks who built Mont Saint-Michel. The documentary features hours and hours of recently discovered video footage showing the monks building the structure in 970AD. It reveals that some of them were giants. Many of them also had six or seven fingers, and faces that melted off when they turned at a certain angle. I saw one very moving clip from the show, where the monks telephone the Vatican and have a chat with the pope, while on their lunch break.

You look at the United States today and of course you don't believe they put a man on the moon in 1969
But go watch the Apollo 11 documentary on Amazon
What you'll see is an entirely different country full of people that basically no longer exist today
A serious, focused, rational, and united people with a common goal
They had a pack of tin foil and less computing power than a microwave oven...
But they understood physics
They knew how to build things
And most of all, they had belief
Why wouldn't they?
They were from the country that invented flight itself
If two bike mechanics from the midwest could accomplish something that even the great da Vinci only dreamed of...
Why couldn't a team of the brightest minds in the most powerful country in the world come together to put a man on the moon?
As time goes on, fewer people believe that the scientists and engineers of the 60's actually put a man on the moon
