Across the world in Pakistan, talks between the Americans, led by Vice President JD Vance, and the Iranians were stretching into the early morning.
Here in Miami, POTUS entered a sports arena to watch a UFC fight at 9:02 p.m. He was trailed by several members of the Trump family and Dana White, the president of Ultimate Fighting Championship.
His eldest daughter, Ivanka, and younger daughter, Tiffany, were close by. As a Kid Rock song blasted from the speakers, Trump walked to his seat where Secretary of State Marco Rubio was waiting.
Also nearby was Sergio Gor, the US ambassador to India.
Trump gave several tight smiles to the cameras.
They were all here to see the main event, which was the light heavyweight fight between Jiří Procházka vs. Carlos Ulberg. The fight is about to start.
Before POTUS entered the arena, your pool watched a welterweight fight between Kevin Holland and Randy Brown, and then a featherweight fight between Patricio Pitbull and Aaron Pico.
Both sets of men grew sweaty and bloodied as they fought on a floor that was covered in ads for Monster energy drinks, assorted crypto and betting sites, and Bud Light beer. The floor was stained with splotches of dried blood from the first match, when a fighter took a hard hit to the forehead.
The arena had a lot of empty seats. Holland won his fight and Pico won featherweight.
