The Epoch Times @EpochTimes - Multiple U.S. water providers are lowering fluoride levels in drinking water for millions of Americans due to supply shortages caused by the U.S.–Iran war.
Baltimore City reduced its fluoride from 0.7 mg/L to 0.4 mg/L, citing disruptions from a key Israeli supplier. WSSC Water, serving 1.9 million in Maryland, also dropped to 0.4 mg/L for the same reason, while Lititz, Pennsylvania, temporarily halted fluoridation entirely.
The adjustments are temporary and driven solely by supply availability, with utilities pledging to restore optimal levels as soon as possible. Fluoride is added at 0.7 mg/L per CDC recommendations to prevent tooth decay.
Experts say a few months of lower levels is likely not a major concern for most people, though prolonged reductions could affect children’s developing teeth.

She said they were prepared to help via the Red Crescent Society.
Notably the Red Crescent Society has been used to run operations for the IRGC.
