Wasson Watch Co. @WassonWatch - Catechism of the Catholic Church 841 says,
"The Church's relationship with the Muslims. 'The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind's judge on the last day.'"
The clear meaning here is, frankly, heretical. Essentially it is saying that Muslims worship the same God as Christians. This is, of course, false. The Islamic god is not like our God. He is not good. He is not just. He is not merciful. And he is not truly God.
At best, he is simply the fake creation of man. At worst, he is a literal demon (if not Satan himself).
There can never be "communion" between Christians and Muslims.
